Tariff system

The zone tariff system works according to a very simple principle since the tariffs are calculated according to the number of zones crossed starting from the location in which the departure place is located.

Therefore, following the route of the bus, for journeys that take place within a single zone, the first tariff class “A” is applied and for each further zone passage, including the departure one, there is a tariff step.

All the extra-urban travel documents used to reach (or depart from) Brescia are of an integrated type and allow the use of the extra-urban bus as well as all the urban area services, including the MetroBS service.

Sanctions

Pursuant to art. 46 of the Regional Law 04.04.2012 n. 6, as modified by the Regional Law 09.12.2013 n. 18 passengers are required to:

  • obtain a suitable and valid travel document;
    validate the travel document at the time of the ascent (for travel tickets where this procedure is foreseen) and, if applicable, at the beginning of the journey and at each individual exit (check in – check out).
  • keep the title for the entire duration of the route and until the descent stop;
  • show the travel document upon boarding the driver and the control and verification staff.

Weekly ticket

Students not eligible

The weekly pass allows you to make an unlimited number of trips within the week of validity (from Monday to Sunday), and must be validated when boarding the first trip.

A valid week number must be entered in the space provided.

Weekly passes are personal and non-transferable. They can be used by the owner only if accompanied by the identification card issued by the company and necessary for the purchase of any type of subscription.

Monthly ticket

The monthly ticket allows you to make an unlimited number of trips, including holidays, from the first to the last day of the month of validity, on the chosen route indicated on the issued identification card.

The holders of this travel document are granted the right to interrupt and resume the trip provided that the place of ascent (on the bus) is included among those included in the chosen report and indicated on the issued identification card.

Monthly tickets are personal and non-transferable. They can be used by the owner only if accompanied by the identification card issued by the company and necessary for the purchase of any type of subscription.

Monthly subscriptions for students

Starting from the 2020-21 school year, the monthly student month is issued by means of a special paper coupon, card format, on which the month of validity is pre-printed.

The number of the subscription card in possession must be reported in the appropriate space on the monthly coupon; Coupon and card must always be shown at the time of travel and in case of checks by the control staff.

For routes having origin or destination in the city of Brescia, the monthly student monthly is of the integrated type, valid for the selected extra-urban route and on the Urban and MetroBS services of the capital; the coupon is made in a single support, to be validated on city buses and at the access points to the subway.

The monthly student passes, integrated and non-integrated, are differentiated by tariff class and by month of validity (pre-printed) and are valid from the first to the last day of the month, including holidays, for an unlimited number of journeys on the route indicated in the pass. .

These travel tickets can be purchased at the ticket offices of the Brescia bus stations or at company resellers in the area where Arriva SIA operates.

This document is produced in the form of a personalized smart card, to be renewed annually. It is offered for sale with a price corresponding to n. 8 monthly passes and has the same characteristics as the monthly.

For students attending schools located in the city of Brescia, the annual season ticket is of an integrated type.

Holders of this ticket are allowed to make an unlimited number of trips, including holidays during the period of validity:

  • students: from September 1st to August 31st
  • ordinary: 12 months from the month of issue
